On the morning of June 5th, Ni Yingchun, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the National Tobacco Monopoly Administration (China National Tobacco Corporation), and his delegation visited the company to investigate the progress of the "unveiling and commanding" tobacco harvesting project. General Manager Wu Yaodong, Deputy Director Dai Peigang of Qingdao Institute, Researcher Sun Fushan of Qingdao Institute, Director Song Weidong of Nanji Institute, and Assistant Researcher Liu Zichang of Qingdao Institute participated in the research activity. Chairman Ji Shunzhong presided over the meeting.

Yunma Company started with characteristic machinery and has developed for 16 years. Currently, it has formed an integrated industrial pattern of modern agricultural equipment research and development, production, and sales. The company has always adhered to the development strategy of "market-oriented, led by characteristic machinery", implemented the "high-quality delivery" management model of upstream extension and downstream coverage, and focused on building a "highly well-known" trademark market competitiveness. During the meeting, General Manager Wu Yaodong gave a detailed report on the key technical solutions, performance indicators, engineering verification, and national on-site meetings of core components, and fully listened to the suggestions and opinions of Professor Wang Ling and Dr. Gao Lei from China Agricultural University.

Deputy Director Ni Yingchun expressed appreciation for the achievements made by Yunma Agricultural Machinery Company in its development. He stated that the development momentum of tobacco agricultural machinery is strong, and the focus of tobacco harvesting is on the harvesting process. He hopes that the project research and development team can collaborate, deepen communication, accelerate the implementation of machinery, implement engineering verification of tobacco harvesting in specific application scenarios, and achieve technological empowerment of the industry.

Chairman Ji Shunzhong, on behalf of Yunma Agricultural Machinery Company, sincerely thanks the expert team for their suggestions and opinions. He stated that under the guidance and support of the Science and Technology Department of the National Bureau, the tobacco harvesting project will focus on the key and difficult points of research and development, work together, fully promote the research and development process, and accelerate the first round of engineering verification.
